HWY 89 & George Road Houses & Lots

Description

This 131-acre tract is being offered as five separate listings and includes a modern custom home built in 2001, a fully furnished 1910 farmhouse, and multiple accessory farm buildings. Located in the Westfield community of Stokes County, North Carolina, this property offers peaceful country living in a beautiful rural setting.

The land features a scenic mix of open hay fields, fenced pasture, mature hardwood and pine forests, and water features including a small pond on Lot 11, small streams on Lots 1, 3, and 11, and Marshall Creek frontage on Lot 1. This diverse landscape is ideal for livestock, horses, hobby farming, recreation, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

The farmhouse is a 4-bedroom, 2,933 square foot, two-story home built in 1910. The main residence is a 3-bedroom, 4,365 square foot, two-story home with a basement, built in 2001. Both homes are served by septic and well, and power and fiber internet are available.

The property offers privacy, open space, and a true rural setting. Lots 1, 2 and 12 feature paved public road frontage, and the remaining lots are served by a paved shared private driveway with Road Maintenance Agreement in place. There is no homeowner’s association, but protective covenants to be added to maintain aesthetics and road maintenance. Low county 0.7% property taxes. The property is also enrolled in Present Use Value, which may be transferable to qualifying lots.

Accessory farm buildings on certain lots provide excellent space for storage, equipment, or livestock use. The main residence includes a main-level primary suite, open floor plan, great room, screened porch, two-car attached garage, finished walk-out basement, wormy chestnut floors, gas appliances, whole-house generator, detached three-car garage, dog lot, chicken coop, stables, and fenced pasture.

This property offers the perfect balance of rural serenity and convenient access to nearby towns and attractions, including approximately 18 minutes to Stuart, Virginia, 20 minutes to Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, and 38 minutes to Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Ideal for those seeking a country homestead, mini-farm, or investment tract in the heart of North Carolina’s foothills.
